Scorrier House is a visual delight and as such has been used as a film set in recent years. Situated in beautiful flower filled gardens surrounded by 450 acres of woods and parkland and featuring old large stables in working use, with cobbled yard, the spectacular Scorrier House makes a fantastic photographic location.
The interior of Scorrier House is equally stunning offering a versatile setting for photography. The Outer and Grand Hall has a large sweeping double staircase with a tapestry and oil paintings. The Drawing Room with an Adam design ceiling and polished wood floors, leads into the conservatory which is filled with exotic tropical plants collected by the family from all over the world.
The house is easily accessed by the A30 trunk road half a mile away. There are regular daily flights to most of the UK from Newquay Airport. We are ten minutes drive to the mainline train station at Redruth. We are situated 15 minutes from Truro and twenty minutes from Falmouth.
