Peer Gynt by Miracle Theatre – Thursday 16 July
Join us at Scorrier House for an open-air performance “Peer Gynt” by Miracle Theatre on Thursday 16 July 2026 at 7.30pm. Set against the backdrop of our historic Cornish estate, this promises to be a memorable summer evening in the beautiful surroundings of Scorrier House.
Loosely inspired by Ibsen’s epic comedy, this much-loved morality tale is physical, witty, surreal and deeply human. Step into a dreamlike world of Norse mythology, brought to life with eccentric characters, trolls and other strange and wonderful creatures in a comedy that is both thrilling and full of charm.
Guests are invited to bring blankets, low-backed chairs, picnics, friends, family and a spirit of adventure to enjoy the magic of live performance beneath the open sky.
There will also be a bar serving alcoholic, soft and hot drinks, along with a café serving pizzas and ice creams.
Scorrier House offers free on-site parking, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. The estate is mostly wheelchair accessible, with step-free ground floor function rooms, wide doorways, a disabled toilet, and ramped access into the house
