Spring Bluebell Garden Opening – 17 April
This event is now sold out
Cornwall garden openings don’t get much better than during bluebell season, and Scorrier House’s garden puts on quite a show!
This will be Scorrier House’s first garden bluebell opening: The 10-acre garden is normally filled with a carpet of blue this time of year.
And there is more: April is a fantastic month to see flowering rhododendrons, azaleas and all the other exotic species in the garden. The 250-year-old garden at Scorrier is home to countless rare plants having formally employed plant hunters such as William Lobb. Read more about the history here.
Refreshments – teas, coffees and cakes – will be available and there are loos on site. Tickets must be purchased ahead of arrival (see below).
Please note that the last entry time is 3.30 due to a drive-in cinema taking place that evening. (You can also buy tickets for this here).
The garden is also open the following day, Sunday 18th April.
The whole garden is wheelchair accessible, though please note some paths are grass or loose gravel.
Dogs are welcome but only on leads please.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are accepting online timed bookings.
Each visiting individual or group must select an entrance time when booking and arrive at the time on their ticket. This is to ensure social distancing can be maintained.
No groups of more than six individuals or two households will be permitted. Social distancing between groups must be observed at all times.
All ticket holders will be given a full refund should the event be cancelled in light of changing government guidelines or restrictions.
Track-and-trace will be in operation and there will be hand sanitizers on arrival.
Please select the time of your arrival from the form below and note down this time (the booking confirmation email might not include it).
This is the time you need to arrive at Scorrier House (directions here). This is to ensure social distancing on arrival and in the garden.
Please note that as each entry time becomes full it will be taken down from the website.
