What haunted happenings should you expect during Scorrier’s drive-in cinema this Halloween…?
New Site: The Haunted Woods
For a spookier effect (and to mitigate the wet weather) the location of Scorrier’s drive in cinema has changed…to the haunted woods.
To get to Scorrier’s drive in cinema use the postcode TR16 5AG or follow signs on the A3047 which will direct you onto Treskerby Road opposite the Scorrier Texico petrol station.
The site of the cinema is an all-weather car parking field, which is suitable for all vehicles. There will also be a one-way system in operation.
You are welcome to walk around the site (while practising social distancing) and dogs are also welcome.
When’s Witching Hour?
Gates for the evening showings on Wednesday 28th October and Thursday 29th October (Halloween 1978 and Get Out) open at 7.15 pm. Any earlier arrivals can park until cars from the previous showing depart. The evening film will then start at 8.30 pm.
Trick or Treat?
We advise you to arrive when gates open for the Scorrier Drive In Cinema as we have a fantastic selection of food and drink on offer.
Dish Cornwall will be serving up pizzas, including vegan and extra ‘spooky’ options.
Bangers On The Go will bring their famous selection of burgers, hot dogs, chips and more, including children’s options.
Hot chocolate, popcorn and possibly the best donuts you’ve ever tasted will come from the Donut Dollies.
And, of course, there will also be a licensed bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
